Recently the FF News team made their way out to New York for Insurtech Insights USA 2023. On the ground, we spoke to Ron Rock, Managing Director of Financial Services at JobsOhio. JobsOhio is a private economic development corporation for the state of Ohio and acts as a catalyst for high-growth business investments & job creation.

“The financial services sector in Ohio is the fourths largest sector in the US. So, I’m here to make sure that I’m selling Ohio in the best light, knowing that a lot of these insurtech companies are going to have strong partners if they were to come to Ohio.”

“[Our Whitepaper] is gonna be a fun piece. It’s not just about what it’s like to do business in the state. It does highlight a lot of the more social aspects of the state of Ohio. We’ve got things people don’t usually think about. I’ll keep it at that because I don’t want to give away the secret sauce. But, definitely, I want to get some downloads of the whitepaper and let everybody know what Ohio’s about.”
