From the prosperous island of Barbados, FF News flies over to the Caribbean to be a part of Fintech Islands 2022 event.

“We wanted folks to do business here and participate in discussions around the biggest trends in fintechs, but also take in a little bit of the local culture as well,” said Peter Stoute-King, the CPO of Fintech Islands.

The three-day conference represents more than just a business congregation, but a chance for the big power players in the financial services industry, from Visa to Bright Network, to come together and witness the significant opportunity at the heart of this region.

“The conference punched way above our expectations. The level of participants, the level of discussion taking place: tremendous,” said Gregory N. Hill, the Managing Director at ANSA Merchant Bank.

With talks on financial inclusion, sustainability, and Banking-as-a-Service dominating the event, Fintech Islands showcases the Caribbean as a true force for fintech innovation.
