Julia Streets Discusses How Organisations Are Looking At Optimising

Julia Streets, Founder and CEO of Streets Consulting joins Douglas Mackenzie for conversations in the FF News studio for a discussion about how modern organisations are looking to optimise their business by using automation in end-to-end workflows.

“I think that the biggest friction point is data management, and I don’t think it’s any surprise that the first day of Tradetech is a buy-side only day talking about data. Actually how you handle your data, because as you say with the speed of doing business lets call it. I say that’s very deliberately because it’s not just about trading execution. It’s all the pre-trade and post-trade insights, the analytics and all that stuff.”

“So with the speed of doing business, every incremental change will give you an edge. But the volume of data, structured and unstructured from multiple sources proprietary and external is you just cannot begin to imagine the huge task of collecting it, governing it, storing it, accounting for it and then being able to get into it to gather what you need.”
