At the MoneyLIVE Summit 2023, we caught up with Stewart Davies, Global SaaS Commercial Director at Temenos. The banking software company is a world leader in SaaS with more than 700 clients on SaaS and is taking one bank live on SaaS every 10 days.

“With the rise of open banking and PSD2 technology, a SaaS approach allows banks to focus on orchestrating the unique journeys that will differentiate them in the market, knowing their core systems are in safe hands. It has to be a collaboration. With our SaaS offering we are delivering against bank’s business objectives but also helping them support and achieve their regulatory obligations.”

“Trust is the biggest part of the conversation we have with our prospects and when they are going through to becoming clients. Ultimately we are looking after the bank’s most valuable asset, which is their customer data. So we have to demonstrate that we understand how that data is being managed, where it is being stored, how and where it is being processed and how we keep it secure.”
