Felix Hughes, Director at Bueno, says they’re looking at how many nationalities are buying property in Spain, especially people from the UK. Hughes gave some interesting numbers that show more and more international buyers are interested. Back in 2023, 15% of homes in Spain were bought by foreigners but by the following year, that number was already up to 20.4%.

However, Hughes says it’s not just the Brits as a great mix of different nationalities are buying property there. He says Spain is still a popular place for second homes and investments, which is why Bueno is paying attention to this specific market.

In the world of finance and banking, this means there is a need for special financial products and online services for people buying properties across countries. This includes easy ways to get started, ways to pay, dealing with rules, and handling property.
