In this video, FF News’ Douglas Mackenzie sits down with Ericson Chan, the Group Chief Information & Digital Officer at Zurich Insurance Group. During this conversation, Ericson provides us with some more detail about his role with the company, and lets us know about the work Zurich is doing with different insurtech partners.

“I’m the Chief Information and Digital Officer, so I take care of everything related to technology and operations. It’s more importantly, how we use digital or you can call it a digital transformation to change the customer experience? How do we genuinely use the customer-centricity approach to give our customers a different kind of experience, the so-called insurance of tomorrow?”

“We work with insurtech a lot, but not only insurtech we work with a lot of startups. We have a very established program and we have been running this for quite some time. I think there’s a lot of advantage for us to do this work with them. As you know, insurtechs are very agile, very flexible and creative.”
