FLA launches Diversity and Inclusion information hub
The Finance & Leasing Association (FLA) has launched a Diversity and Inclusion page for International Women’s Day on Sunday, March 8th, 2020.
The page will serve as an information hub for members, and includes resources such as the Financial Conduct Authority’s work on diversity and inclusion, and the Women in Finance Charter toolkit.
The FLA has also included their own diversity and inclusion materials which provide sources of advice for developing D&I strategies.
In his blog post for the launch of the Diversity and Inclusion page, Stephen Haddrill, Director General of the FLA, said:
“Diversity in the boardroom and amongst senior executives is good for governance, decision making, strategy development and profitability.
“Diverse and inclusive teams are more likely to challenge the mighty CEO; more likely to generate diversity of thought and more likely to provide insight on customers and the wider public interest of the business.”
