Bitcoin Surges – Good News for Soma ICO

On September 18 2017, bitcoin price surged from $3,600 to $4,040, recording a 13 percent increase within the past 24 hours as global markets stabilised.

Joseph Al-Sharif, Co-Founder of Soma says:

After the recent plunge in the cryptocurrency markets, we are currently seeing nice signs of revival. Considering the fact that the crypto market involves a lot of capital – which is only making its first footsteps in the world of cryptos – these plunges are inevitable.

However, I believe that as the time passes, the volatility of cryptos will calm down. I am not stressed about the market behaviour regarding the upcoming Soma ICO on 26th September 3PM GMT, as I believe that every project which has a viable use case to utilise cryptocurrencies in their ecosystem will survive market drops, just like in the securities market.

The downtrend is just an opportunity to buy tokens that are backed with strong vision and definitive use cases.”

ICO’s have surpassed venture capital funding, despite China banning ICOs. Many of the companies holding ICO’s are not cryptocurrencies, but technology companies built on blockchain and trying to raise capital.
