EEMA Chair Jon Shamah and Board Member David Birch Listed in One World Top 100 Leaders in Identity

EEMA revealed that its Chair, Jon Shamah and board member, David Birch, are both listed in One World Top 100 Leaders in Identity.

The One World Top 100 Leaders in Identity were selected based on their industry clout and influencer status, the number of publications and professional speaking engagements in 2016, time in the industry and number of nominations. The list represents pioneers, innovators and pace setters who are working to advance inclusion, improve products and services, keep personal data safe, and to ensure and protect individual privacy.

Chair of EEMA, Jon Shamah comments: “I am very proud to be recognised alongside so many identity professionals that I respect and admire. More importantly, I am delighted to see so many on the list that have close ties to EEMA, whether attending, or presenting at our events, or participating in our project work.” Shamah adds: “It is testament to the relevance and extensive programme of activity that EEMA is currently involved in throughout Europe, that we are able to bring so many of the world’s leading identity experts together to share knowledge, collaborate and drive the identity agenda forward.”

Jon Shamah is joined on the list by Andrea Servida from the European Commission, Microsoft’s Kim Cameron, Sarah Munro from Barclays, Eve Maler from ForgeRock, Edward Snowdonand Allan Foster from the Kantara Initiative – with whom EEMA signed a memorandum of understanding at ISSE 2016, enabling member collaboration and knowledge sharing between the two organisations.
