Government Blockchain Week, Cloud Computing Round Table
GSA Director Thomas Santucci to host Cloud Computing Round Table during Government Blockchain Week.
On Tuesday evening, 9/28/2021, during the Government Blockchain Week, Mr. Thomas Santucci, the Director of Government-Wide Policy (DCOI and CloudSmart) will host a round table to discuss what the GSA is achieving with cloud computing. Held in the Past President’s Room of the Whittemore House, the Cloud Computing Round Table will be an intimate gathering for a limited number of guests. This event will be one of the Parlor Talks of Blockchain Ambassadors Evening Reception, and one of only 2 Round Table discussions for the night. Be in the room where it happens to find out how government uses cloud computing, why, and who owns that cloud.

Latvijas Banka is Issuing a Licence to SIA AlphaRoute for the Provision of Crypto-asset Services
SIA AlphaRoute has received a licence in accordance with the requirements of the European Union (EU) Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA). Along with the entry into force of the MiCA Regulation, a unified legal framework for the crypto-asset sector, including the requirement for crypto-asset service providers to obtain authorisation, has been introduced in the EU. Upon obtaining authorisation in one EU country, a crypto-asset service provider may provide services throughout the EU in accordance with the mechanism for notifying cross-border activities.
