Lunar Appoints Chief Product Officer
Lunar appoints Mette Hindborg Gade as its new Chief Product Officer (CPO), strengthening the company’s product leadership as Lunar enters its next phase of growth across the Nordics.
Mette joins Lunar after three years as Chief Product Officer at Pleo, where she played a central role in scaling the company’s product vision and commercial growth across Europe. Prior to that, she spent more than a decade as a Partner at McKinsey and Company, advising financial institutions and fintechs on large scale digital and agile transformations.
“Mette brings a rare combination of strategic clarity and hands-on execution. She has scaled product organisations in high-growth environments, driven commercial impact and knows how to build great products in complex, regulated financial settings. She also brings a clear passion for customer-centric design and for empowering product teams to move fast and build with precision. This is exactly the kind of leadership we need as we accelerate Lunar’s next phase of growth,” said Ken Villum Klausen, Founder and CEO of Lunar.
In her role, Mette will lead the next stage of Lunar’s product development across consumer, business and Moonrise, with a strong focus on delivering direct customer value and building out Lunar’s full banking proposition, including lending.
