SimCorp Promotes Technology Industry Veteran Ronan Donnelly to Chief Operations Officer
SimCorp, a leading financial technology company, has named Ronan Donnelly as Chief Operations Officer, effective immediately.
In this position, Donnelly will help shape SimCorp’s strategic direction, optimizing operations and ensuring the business is positioned for long-term, sustainable success. He will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Georg Hetrodt.
“Ronan has a strong track record of leading and scaling technology businesses,” said Hetrodt. “He is a proven strategic leader, and will be critical in this role to help SimCorp and our clients reach their ambitions.”
Donnelly has been with SimCorp since 2020 in a number of roles with increasing responsibility. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of SaaS Operations. During his time with the organization, he has helped to implement AI enabled support and established a critical global presence in Mexico City.
Prior to SimCorp, he held buy side focused, senior leadership roles, at global Fintech firms, including SunGard, FIS and Finastra..
Donnelly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Banking and Finance from the University of Ulster, and has lived and worked in London and New York. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, traveling and following Formula One racing.
