Tenity Strengthens Nordic and UK Presence with Appointment of Oliver Sjöstedt as Principal

Tenity, the global early-stage fintech venture  fund that combines venture capital, open innovation, and global ecosystem access,  has appointed Oliver Sjöstedt as Principal for the Nordics and UK. Based in  Copenhagen, Oliver will lead Tenity’s investments across both markets, sourcing  ambitious pre-seed and seed-stage founders in fintech, insurtech, and web3

The appointment underscores Tenity’s conviction in the Nordic and UK  ecosystems and builds on its existing partnerships in both regions. By combining a  local presence with a global platform, Tenity aims to strengthen the bridge between  two of Europe’s most dynamic fintech hubs.

“We are delighted to welcome Oliver to the team. Founders in the UK and Nordics will  benefit from his deep local network and hands-on experience, while also gaining  access to Tenity’s global platform. Oliver embodies the kind of partner we want for  entrepreneurs: supportive, connected, and long-term oriented,” said Guillermo  Forteza, Investment Lead, Europe (INC II) at Tenity.

Oliver co-founded a €30m fintech fund investing across the UK and Nordics,  backing early-stage startups at the intersection of finance and technology.  Alongside his investment track record, he has been an active community builder in  the Nordic fintech scene and brings hands-on operating experience as Chief of Staff  at a scaling health tech startup.

“Every time I fly between the UK and Nordics, I meet a founder. The energy here is  unmistakable. I’m convinced the next fintech outliers will be built here, and with  Tenity we want to back them as a collaborative co-investor while opening doors  across the global financial industry”, said Oliver Sjöstedt.
