Zurich Expands Mid-Market ‘All Risks’ Insurance for UK Mass Risks Across Key EEA Markets

Zurich’s Retail and Commercial Insurance regional teams in ten1 hubs can now provide multinational insurance for UK businesses classified as Mass Risks with exposures in seven European Economic Area (EEA) territories.

This product extension for Mid-Market Commercial Combined ‘All Risks’ policy will expand for UK business with operations in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, and Spain, all with a single policy issued in the UK. The enhancement made to the ‘All Risks’ policy eliminates the need for separate local EEA policies, simplifying things for brokers and customers.

This solution applies to Mass Risks, defined as businesses not exceeding two criterias2.

Morgan Lyons, Head of Retail Commercial at Zurich UK comments: “This is a fantastic opportunity for Zurich to enhance the way we support UK businesses with international operations, closing the gap we have in our offering. Through our proposition enhancement, we will be supporting Mid-Market companies as they begin to grow and expand within the EEA region.

“As one of the only insurance providers still operating across the biggest regions in the UK, our regional underwriters will support brokers offering tailored advice to meet the individual needs of each business. The teams will continue to work closely with our colleagues in the Multi-National Hub. Our localised proposition ensures that we allow customers to access the breadth of our local expertise and meet their business needs through one policy and one expert underwriter.”
