Jeffrey Wernick Joins MXC’s Advisory Board

MXC Foundation, the break-through cryptocurrency promoting LPWAN technology powered by the MXProtocol, is pleased to announce that Jeffrey Wernick has joined its Advisory Board. Wernick is a seasoned independent investor and one of the early investors in the world’s largest and pioneering “shared economy” companies – Jeffrey has played an essential role in the success of Airbnb and Uber –  in addition to his keen interest in Cryptocurrency and Blockchain.

Wernick will work with MXC to establish a systematic process to both simplify and increase IoT data transactions. Wernick will advise on strategy and will take an active role in the foundation’s work to develop and drive the shared economy allowing anyone to profit from MXC.

“At present, Cryptocurrencies are governed by a centralization of knowledge. People find it difficult to navigate around them and understand how they work. Jeffrey will help people understand MXC and the role it plays so that they can take part of the shared economy,” said MXC CEO Hu Xin.  “Jeffrey is a world-renowned investor and a true champion of the benefits of blockchain technology. It is an honour to have him onboard.”

Jeffrey began his career trading options and futures while studying at the University of Chicago. After working at Salomon Brothers, he became the youngest Senior Officer at the National Bank of Detroit. Jeffrey then launched a technology-focused venture capital firm and created a hedge fund to invest in distressed and bankrupt companies, helping to restructure their balance sheets. As an angel investor, his focus expanded to the sharing economy, bank transactions, lending platforms, cryptocurrencies and blockchain, biomedical, human genome project, payment systems and biotechnology.

As we expand the potential and possibilities of blockchain technology, the concept of universal income will be facilitated in a world where individuals can collect, use, and resell their own data,” said Wernick. “MXC’s vision is to introduce a systematic process to both simplify and increase IoT data transactions. As a lifelong advocate for removing the “middle-man” and opening this closed market to anybody who wants to take part, joining MXC was an obvious choice.

Wernick will join the MXC roadshow celebrating the foundation’s launch. Events will take place in early July, spanning Germany, the UK, Singapore, Australia, China, the US, South Korea and Japan.
