Kroll Appointed Joint Administrators to London-Based Hawkwing Plc
Sarah Rayment and Robert Armstrong of Kroll, the leading independent provider of global risk and financial advisory solutions, have been appointed Joint Administrators of Hawkwing plc on 10 February 2023. Their appointment follows an application to Court by Hanover Investors Management LLP on behalf of Hanover Catalyst Fund.
Hawkwing plc was formed as a Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) to invest by way of secured loan into one or more companies in the technology sector that provide solutions for specific industries such as digital marketing, medical applications, business and financial services and the sports sector. Hawkwing plc was listed on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange in June 2020, but suspended trading in July 2021 following the announcement of a proposed reverse takeover.
The Joint Administrators are set to review the viable options for the business going forward.
