Paris Ranks 2nd Among 20 “Cities of Influence”
“Paris is the leading market when it comes to economic output/orientation, future skills and capacity and affordability/cost,” points out the report, which has just been released.
This analysis is based on factors which fall into four areas, explains Colliers International:
1. The size/orientation of economic output and the workforce;
2. The size/skills of the latent and emerging talent pool;
3. The cost and affordability of the city – as a place to live and save, and in terms of the cost of labour/ total cost of office occupation;
4. The country risk associated with the market, and the inherent risk/ challenges presented by labour laws.
Arnaud de Bresson, Chief Executive of Paris EUROPLACE, stated: “In a context of Brexit, this confirms Paris major cards for attracting firms which consider rebalancing their activities and relocating in the EU.”
