Pitcher Perfect Hosts A Project Disrupting The Gaming and Betting Industry

21 June 2019 was marked on the calendar of UCIM for having achieved yet another milestone with the success of the third edition of Pitcher Perfect.

The event invited 5 ingenious projects that were selected through a due diligence process on the basis of their relevance, the team, the potential of the product and the ability to disrupt their respective industries. The selected projects were unique in themselves with amazing concepts that would bring immense benefits to their users. One of those disruptive projects that attended the event was YOUnited. 

YOUnited is one of its kind decentralized gaming and online betting platform, that eliminates house fees and house interaction. It promotes fair play between players, the winnings of which are distributed fairly between the winning participants. It is based on the DPoS consensus protocol with smart contracts that act as a replacement of the house or third party in casinos and aid in reducing house fees substantially. The eco-friendly platform based on smart contracts facilitates transparency, instant payouts, fast transactions and generation of a unique random number to enhance fairness in the games.

The UCIM team hosted industry leaders, investment funds, ingenious projects, and other attendees at The Hub in Hong Kong. Several companies that attended the event were Association of Family Offices Asia, Coinstreet Partners, Nexchange, Betatron, Swartz Binnersley & Associates, Longhash, et al. The team stands firm on its mission to abridge the gap between the innovators and facilitators, thereby enabling an ecosystem with a strong and vibrant community.
