About Ben Winford

Ben Winford currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at Thriday since November 2019. Ben has also held a position on the Junior Advisory Board for the Melbourne International Arts Festival from June 2015 to January 2021. Prior to these roles, Ben was Chief Operating Officer at Management from January 2017 to November 2019 and founded Intaview, a video interviewing platform, which operated from July 2014 to June 2017. An experienced business builder with a broad range of skills, Ben Winford started his career as a Senior Lawyer at Corrs Chambers Westgarth with a focus on banking. Ben worked with major clients such as Commonwealth Bank and Bankwest on a variety of complex deals covering M&A, insolvency and commercial litigation. Ben has a comprehensive understanding of banking law and regulation. Most recently, Ben was Chief Operations Officer at Purebaby. Purebaby is Australia's largest infant clothing brand, with 21 retail outlets across the country. Ben scaled the business from $20 million in revenue to $45 million within two years. Ben expanded the business overseas, signing strategic partnerships in the UK and US, securing private equity funding, and restructuring the business model with a shift to wholesale and online sales. The product was used by a number of leading brands to streamline and digitise their hiring process.
